Membership of MyLivePage

By registering you confirm that you have the legal competence to complete such an agreement, that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have the authorization of your parents or legal guardian if you are a minor.

By registering you guarantee that you are providing true, accurate, current and complete information.

As a member, you are liable for all the information, pictures, text, music, video, general content etc. that you post on your personal site. As a visitor, you are liable for all the consequences of visiting this site. See also our general liability section.

MyLivePage can, at its sole discretion, delete any user profile, delete user data, delete memberships, at any time and for any reason.

MyLivePage can never be held liable for conflicts between members and/or visitors of the web sites or users of MyLivePage’s services.

Content uploaded by members or visitors (hereafter ‘users’)

Any text, pictures, music, video or data in general (hereafter ‘content’) uploaded by you as a user remains your responsibility. You may not upload any content that infringes any law or statute, be it civil or criminal law. This includes but is not limited to all intellectual property laws, privacy laws etc.

You as a user are specifically prohibited to post any data that can be regarded as defamatory, harassing or racist.

Complaints procedure

If at anytime you as a user come across illegal data in any form or format on the MyLivePage network, you are required to notify MLP N.V. within a reasonable time period by sending an e-mail to info@mylivepage.net. MLP N.V. will then investigate the matter and take the appropriate action. This procedure is in accordance with article 14 of the EU-directive on Electronic Commerce (2000/31/CE)

Price of the services

Creating a basic member profile is free. Some other services are free, others are paid. MyLivePage will always clearly indicate the price of a service. In case a user pays via user’s mobile phone’s short messaging functionality, the users’ mobile carrier might charge a surplus above the price of the message. The total fee will vary according to mobile carrier, invoice plan and or location.

Prohibited Materials

MyLivePage.com forbids storage of porn, adult, offensive or illegal materials. The site owners are entitled to delete or block such content.

Copyright

Copyright is owned by MLP N.V. Any data, including but not limited to photos, text, images, sound, etc. are copyright protected.

When a user uploads data that is publicly accessible, user grants MLP N.V. an unlimited license to view, use, disseminate, modify and or translate the data. This data includes but is not limited to text, pictures, sounds, video, blogposts, comments, etc.

Anyone is free to post a link to a MyLivePage website, but any specific linking that makes it unclear on which site a user is surfing – such as the use of frames – is prohibited.

Liability

MLP N.V. denies all responsibility and limits liability to the legal minimum with regard of the content that is published on the MyLivePage network and with regard to the damage, be it indirect or direct, that results from the publication of the content.

The functionality of the MyLivePage network is offered as is and as available. MLP N.V. will not be held liable for any damage resulting from the functioning or the non-functioning of the services, be it direct or indirect damage.

As a user, you are solely liable and responsible for all content that you post on the MyLivePage network, as a member you are also liable and responsible for all content that visitors post on your personal pages. You have the possibility to delete content uploaded by visitors to your personal site.

Links to other websites are the responsibility of the owner of the links. MyLivePage can at its sole discretion delete links to external websites.

Expressed consent

You must understand these terms and conditions and other legal documents such as the Privacy Policy before continuing use of this website. By continuing you express your consent.

Other legal documents including but not limited to the Privacy Policy are addenda to this agreement.

Passwords and security

It is the responsibility of the user to keep passwords and login information safe. In case of breach of confidentiality, the user has to notify MyLivePage straight away, at info@mylivepage.com.

MyLivePage is not responsible for damages, direct or indirect, resulting from a breach of security on any part of the network.

Territoriality

Use of the MyLivePage network is prohibited in any country where any parts of this agreement, including the addenda, are illegal according to local law. It is the responsibility of the user not to infringe local law.

Jurisdiction

This agreement between you and MLP N.V., the use of the MyLivePage network and any consequence of the use of the MyLivePage network shall be governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. You and MLP N.V. agree to submit any conflict to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Brussels, Belgium.
